Listening to Hardrock FM Jakarta this morning on their newest program “Shuffle Love Song”. In this program we are dedicated 1 love song that could describe your feeling about your love life. And here it is today story from a women (let’s called her) Mrs. Pretty, 23 years old. Mrs. Pretty told us that she has a boyfriend that would like to ask her to get married soon. This couple have had their relationship for about 2-3 years. Mrs. Pretty boyfriend is about 33 years old, and has proposed her to becoming his future wife.
So on with their story, today Mrs. Pretty calls Hardrock FM to ask to call her boyfriend, and ask him to wait for her for about 1-2 years and postponed their wedding plan. Since Mrs. Pretty has been graduated this years, so this is her first time work experience and she’s so exciting about her new world.
Furthermore, Mrs. Pretty has meet her decision, she would like to live her new life for about 1-2 years ahead, and asking her boyfie, which she said love her so much, to understand this situation. And what we (listeners) hear is her boyfie couldn’t wait any longer and he said this is the last time he give in his life for the women she love. Mrs. Pretty should make a decision! Between him or her career.
The conclusion is, He said it very clearly that if Mrs Pretty still wants to choose her career after their relationship, he would let her to do so whatever she likes.
This is my point of view about this situation. Age is not a matter when you have to make a decision about future (married thingy). Eventough Mrs. Pretty still young in age doesn’t mean she has no commitment about it, what we called in bahasa “LABIL”. I do not agree with it!
If we talk about a ‘deep love’ between a couple, age is not a matter. Even though her boyfie is about 33years old and Mrs. Pretty is 23 years old, if they love are strong, they will clearly stated that they committed to have a relationship called MARRIAGE.
In this case is not about age, its all about love and decision about it. I see it in Mrs. Pretty that she’s like not so much into her boyfie, I mean her love is not as deep as her boyfie. So when her boyfie explain that their life will be better after married and he will take over Mrs Pretty to keep her safe and happy, She’s just don’t feel that this is the right thing!
She’s just thinking about career this days, she’s not thinking about any future relationship, the point is she’s just not into him! We cannot blame anyone on this situation. This is the way she choose her path, to continue her career and let go her relationship. That’s just it. But don’t say that the decision taken is about AGE, I strongly not agree with it! She’s just not into him!
I agree that you should experience the stage of life to understand better, and this is the way someone choose their life path. When its not good then this is the end. Whatever the man do, he’s just chasing tails, chasing pavement, or run in a circle, pointless! So just live your life with or without her, decide it now or 4ever life in hanging moments?
Last but not least this story end up with a Coldplay ‘love song’ called the s.c.i.e.n.t.i.s.t
